The Story

The Beyondarium is a new form of story based experience: physical explorations of cinematic worlds filled with impossible discoveries, compelling characters, and layered narratives that reveal truths far greater than any single story.

We are not just introducing an experience. We are inviting you to discover a new, original storyworld from its earliest moments, to follow it as it grows from an idea into a living, breathing place, and to become part of the community that will help shape it.

To understand what lies beyond, you must first understand what changed everything.

IThe Rifts

o one knows precisely when it began. Not even me. One day, the world was as it had always been. Predictable, confident in its own limitations. And then, without warning, something impossible appeared. A shimmer, suspended in the air. When we investigated, what we found was far more complicated. It was like a tear in reality.

We called them Rifts.

At first, some dismissed them as tricks of light, atmospheric anomalies. Convenient words for inconvenient truths.

Then someone stepped through, and everything changed. The Rifts did not lead to distant places inside our own world. They opened into entirely different realms. Worlds with their own histories, laws, dangers, and astonishing beauty. Some were breathtaking. Others were aggressively unwelcoming. All of them were extraordinary.

What we came to understand was both magnificent and unsettling. Our world is not alone. Reality is far larger than we were ever taught to imagine, and the boundaries between worlds have begun to weaken.

IIThe Beyondarium

Most people remain unaware. For now, perhaps that is for the best. Beyond the Rifts lies knowledge powerful enough to transform civilization, or to endanger it. And there are always those who would rather seize the power of a mystery than understand and protect it. Opportunists who see every miracle as a weapon waiting to be claimed.

I chose a different path. Not because I am noble, but because some doors should not be thrown open carelessly. To preserve and protect this discovery, I hid the Rifts in plain sight. Quietly. Carefully. Places to study, to prepare, to wonder. Hidden sanctuaries where the curious gather before stepping into the impossible.

The most fitting name I have given this collection of launch points is the Beyondarium. And from it came a new kind of explorer. Riftwalkers. Not soldiers or conquerors with flags to plant and histories to rewrite, but trailblazers who cross into the unknown to investigate what cannot yet be explained. Discoverers searching for what has been lost, what has been hidden, and what may still be saved.

All of them have stories waiting to be told. And somewhere, beyond the countless worlds connected by the Rifts, there remains the greatest question of all.

How did they appear in the first place?

I have spent years searching for that answer.
Perhaps now, others will help me find it.

III · The First Realm

Volaris

The first realm that opened to us is called Volaris.

I remember the first images that came back through the Rift. At first, I was convinced the instruments had failed.

Chalk white mountains rising above fields of red grass. Strange flora glowing in the dark of night. A sky crowded with celestial bodies, nebulae, and fractured light. Not simply another world. A place that seemed to be offering questions.

Volaris seems to exist at the edge of the galaxy, in a future not yet our own. It is breathtaking. But beauty, I have learned, is rarely without consequence. Because Volaris is also the site of a mystery.

·The Inferno

At the base of an ancient volcanic spire, early Riftwalkers found the shattered forward section of what appeared to be a deep space research vessel. The Inferno. The rest of the ship still drifts overhead, caught in a deteriorating orbit. One half buried in the surface, one half circling the sky. Between them, a disaster no one has been able to explain.

What happened to its crew?

What tore it apart?

And, most important of all, what was it carrying?

Recovered Log · The Inferno

The few logs we recovered suggest the Inferno was no ordinary research vessel. It had been sent into deep space on a classified mission: to gather and study the most dangerous biological specimens the known universe could offer. Whether it found something on Volaris, or brought something there, we do not yet know. But I am certain of one thing. There are secrets buried in that wreckage. Perhaps the answers that explain the Rifts themselves.

·The Outpost

Near the crash site, Riftwalkers established the Outpost. A fragile foothold built from salvaged parts and scavenged technology, sheltered within a canyon of white rock. At its center is Lumenhall, a place of rumor and welcome, where explorers trade stories of what they have seen and what they suspect. Every traveler seems to carry a warning. And nearly all of them, eventually, look upward. Because the Inferno remains.

Beyond the canyon walls, Volaris opens in every direction. Caves descend beneath Mt. Volar, where markings in the stone respond like music. Azure crystal veins glow in the dark, and unknown flora pulse with a quiet intelligence. The short cycle between day and night transforms the planet again and again, as if Volaris refuses to be seen the same way twice.

Volaris is the first great destination of the Beyondarium.

A living world of beauty, danger, discovery, and unanswered questions. Each expedition reveals something new. Each discovery becomes part of the larger mystery.

And somewhere between the glowing surface of Volaris and the shattered vessel above it, the truth is waiting to be found.
